1 – What is anti-slip corrugated board ?

Anti-slip corrugated board is corrugated board coated on both sides with an anti-slip layer. These anti-slip sheets are indispensable accessories for stabilizing your products on pallets. Particularly during internal conveying, storage and transportation of your goods.

They have been specially designed to hold products in place. Particularly during transport phases when pallets are subjected to longitudinal movements (acceleration and braking) and lateral movements (bends, traffic circles).

The product achieves a slip coefficient > 0.42°, compared with 0.20° for a standard corrugated sheet.

2 – WHY USE ANTI-SLIP CORRUGATED BOARD?

STABULON® anti-slip corrugated board has been specially developed for packaging with an irregular surface and/or a small contact area with the liner, providing good load distribution and high rigidity.

The anti-slip corrugated cardboard format enables asperities to be adjusted within the cardboard sheet, stabilizing the packaged products on the pallet. The board is highly resistant to perforation, punching and shearing.

This limits product slippage and damage. Your products are shipped in complete safety. In addition, the high rigidity of anti-slip corrugated sheets creates a rigid, stable platform on which products can be stacked in many la

3 – HOW TO USE ANTI-SLIP CORRUGATED BOARD

Anti-slip corrugated board is used :

  • At the foot of the pallet, to prevent rising damp, protect products from the roughness of the pallet and stabilize the first layers of products. In this way, the link between the wood or plastic pallet and the load is ensured.
  • Between layers of palletized products to increase rigidity and stability, and possibly increase the height of palletized products.
  • On top of the pallet in the case of stacked pallets. This prevents slipping and rubbing. The last layer of products is also protected against the aggression of the wooden pallet, and against dust and bad weather.

4 – THE ADVANTAGES OF USING ANTI-SLIP CORRUGATED BOARD

  • Its cushioning capacity, when the product to be palletized is heavy or has a small contact surface. It is secured to the inside of the plate, preventing products from sliding off the pallet.
