Securing the transport of paper loads

A significant proportion of road accidents involving the transport of goods can be attributed to inadequately secured loads.

It is imperative to secure loads properly. This depends on the nature of the goods, their shape, weight, packaging and fragility.

An appropriate response must be found for paper loads, which are shipped in a variety of forms: pallets, reels, wafers, reams, cartons.

The products must be held securely on the vehicle so as to be able to respond to extreme situations: sudden braking, evasive maneuvers, deformation of the road surface.

Adequate securing prevents the load from shifting under the impact of centrifugal force or inertia, particularly during acceleration, braking or cornering.
