What is the Hydrophobic and Anti-Slip Sheet STABULON® OCEAN?

Choosing the right packaging solution is essential when dealing with moisture sensitive pallets. Do you encounter issues related to moisture content during storage or transport? Are your sensitive products getting damaged despite using stretch film or other protective materials?

The hydrophobic and anti-slip sheet STABULON® OCEAN offers a simple, eco-friendly and highly effective solution to prevent moisture damage. Whether you’re shipping food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or heavy duty industrial items, it helps protect your goods in humid environments.

STABULON® OCEAN is a water resistant and moisture resistant packaging paper coated with a special water water barrier treatment. This anti-moisture sheet forms a durable barrier against mold and mildew, protecting your products during transport and storage.

It is available in two grades — OCEAN 160 and OCEAN 280 — and fits a wide range of applications, from dried pallets and wooden pallets to moisture sensitive loads and sensitive goods.

The STABULON® OCEAN acts as a dual-function solution: a slip sheet and hydrophobic protection. It helps secure pallet loads, prevents leakage within stacked goods, and enhances overall stability thanks to its anti-slip surface. It can also replace certain plastic or PE sheets while supporting eco-friendly packaging efforts.

How Does the Anti-Moisture Sheet Work?

This anti-moisture sheet is designed to offer:

Prolonged water proof and water resistant performance.

Effective barrier against moisture content.

A non-slip surface to maintain load stability.

You can use it:

  • At the base of the pallet to stop rising humidity,
  • Placed between layers for better stacking, anti-slip control, and to prevent leakage between layers,
  • On top of the load to reduce friction and dust accumulation when double stacking.

STABULON® OCEAN is compatible with both manual and automated palletising and can be used in export settings complying with ISPM 15 standards.

Yes, it is recyclable through standard paper recovery systems.

Absolutely — ideal for long and international supply chains, including maritime transport, in compliance with ISPM 15.
No, but it complements it by adding targeted hydrophobic protection at key contact points within the pallet.
Two standard weights: OCEAN 160 and OCEAN 280. Custom sizes are available upon request.
