1- Jan, could you introduce Stabustrap® and explain the needs it addresses?
STABUSTRAP® is an elastic band placed around the perimeter of a pallet to stabilise the stacked products on it.
It works like a giant elastic band, holding and grouping individual units together.
This product is often used internally in factories to prevent boxes or palletised items from falling before they pass through the stretch-wrapping station.
In some cases, STABUSTRAP® can replace stretch film in logistic intern, helping to reduce plastic use. When combined with anti-slip interlayers, it forms the STABUSTRAP® + STABULON® Anti-Slip Interlayer combo.
2- What sets STABUSTRAP® apart from other solutions available on the market ?
STABUSTRAP® is a 100% in-house manufactured product, from the elastic band itself to the packaging box. The film used to manufacture the bands is extruded at our site in Parent, then converted and packed into boxes in our workshops.
The boxes are manufactured and printed at our site near Bourges. The entire production chain is managed in-house, which also guarantees customers a single point of contact.
3- What does CGP offer to partner distributors ?
CGP offers its elastic palletising bands under different branding options. Distributors and resellers can choose to sell the CGP STABUSTRAP® brand, distribute the product under their own brand with their company logo and colours, or opt for plain white boxes when their customers are other resellers.
4- What are the main differences between Stabustrap® and competing solutions?
STABUSTRAP® is a 100% Made in France product by CGP, from the box to the elastic band. Its supply chain is fully integrated within CGP, ensuring shorter delivery times and better control over logistics flows compared with imports, particularly from Asia.
The STABUSTRAP® range is also highly flexible: CGP offers different weights, colours, and even customisable sizes and lengths.
